Tonight I came across a picture of this delightful snack. For those of you not familiar with it, let me describe:
First of all, as you know, eating anything off of a stick makes it better. Kebobs, Cotton Candy, Popsicles are good examples. Well, take about 5 pieces of fruit (strawberries were probably my favorite, though hawthorn and oranges are tasty as well), slide them onto a skewer, then bathe them in a hot caramelized sugar sauce. As it cools, the sugar hardens into a crispy and sweet coating around the juicy fruits. The result is a party for your tastebuds!

Delicious! That’s the only word to describe these tasty treats! Just looking at that picture made my mouth water. Thanks for the memory, Mike. I look forward to many more interesting blogs!
I was just asking about this at a Chinese restaurant a few days ago while out with Melissa! They didn’t have it, though… 😦
I had some in China – haven’t found anywhere in the states that makes it yet.
I totally would love to find some in the states. That’s great that you like it so much too!
